The science behind movement of any type is very clear. Exercise is beneficial in reducing stress and gaining self-control. Regular exercise gradually builds lasting physical strength.

Did you know that ANY physical activity, just moving can initiate a boost in neurotransmitters. Exercise doesn’t have to be over-strenuous or boot camp style.

Tip #1 – Going for a brisk walk, walking up a set of stairs, swimming, hiking, walking, gardening, yoga, fishing are small examples that yield big results.

Tip #2 – After we are active, we need to be still . Stillness allows the sympathetic nervous system to respond in a nourishing way through adaptation to the complex world in which we live and work.
