I’m often asked how I overcome stress. My response wasn’t the kind of thing that you might expect. It wasn’t hot yoga, Pilates, hydration, or nutrition. Don’t get me wrong, those are all important, but my number one priority for overall well-being and good health is sleep. There is nothing more valuable to my body and stress recovery than sleep. It’s so crazy that sleep is the most powerful thing you can do for your immune system. Like breathing, sleep is the most natural thing you can do to take care of yourself.

Tip #1 – Be consistent as possible with your sleep pattern. The body likes consistency.

Tip #2 – Make sure the temperature in your sleep room is optimal. Mine is 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tip #3 – Do not use electronic devices (blue scenes) ideally minimally one – two hour before you turn in for the night.
